JBWere General Investment Advice

The JBWere General Investment Advice service offers simple, convenient and cost-effective access to general investment advice, ideas and research via a desk of qualified advisors. Clients have the choice of accessing our advice via phone or online.

Phone advice allows clients to speak to an advisor to discuss their portfolio. Our team of advisors provide investment ideas, portfolio construction advice, access to our diversified model portfolios, and trade execution services from $99 per trade. Our phone advice service also provides clients with all the benefits of our online service.

Online advice offers clients the opportunity deal with JBWere exclusively online with access to market-leading research, investment ideas and trade execution services from $50 per trade.

All clients receive proactive investment ideas via email and access to regular publications which set out a range of recommended investments. In addition clients can view detailed research on more than 200 companies, track the live performance of your investments at any time and access company profiles covering more than 1,600 ASX listed companies.

‡ Clients who are not CHESS sponsored by Goldman Sachs Australia and who do not have automatic settlement authority via direct debit or a Goldman Sachs Cash Trust or Goldman Sachs Investment Notes account, will pay a minimum brokerage of $137.50.

What is CHESS?

The Clearing House Electronic Subregister System (CHESS) is the electronic system operated by the ASX to manage the transfer of legal ownership of securities. Goldman Sachs Australia Pty Ltd ("Goldman Sachs") acts as CHESS sponsor for JBWere clients. All personal and share account information is housed in one central location. This offers shareholders fast, efficient and accurate administration of their portfolio.
