Chairman of the Board
Anthony commenced in his role as NAB’s Chief Customer Officer – Business and Private Banking in January 2018. He was previously Managing Director and CEO of Bank of New Zealand (BNZ), a position he held since May 2014.
Anthony has held a number of senior executive and director-level roles over more than 20 years in New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the Middle East.
Anthony joined the NAB Group in 2009, taking on the role of Director, BNZ Partners, where he led the transformation of BNZ’s Institutional, Corporate Business, Private and Agri Banking business. Following the BNZ Partners role he took on the role of CEO & Managing Director of BNZ.
Before joining BNZ, Anthony worked for ANZ Group, as CEO of UDC Finance and prior to that, Deputy Group Managing Director of AmBank Group in Malaysia. He also held senior roles in Australia in ANZ’s Institutional, Corporate and Business Banking divisions.
Anthony has a Graduate Diploma in Finance, a Graduate Diploma in Economics and a Bachelor of Science, double major in economics and psychology, all from the University of Melbourne.
Justin joined JBWere in February 2014 as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this he held a number of senior roles at ANZ including General Manager Wealth Transformation, Head of Private NSW and Head of Advisory. In a career spanning more than 20 years in the finance industry, Justin has also held positions including Head of Retail and Chief Operating Officer at Greenway Capital, Head of Financial Planning at Westpac, and Head of Corporate Development at Rothschild Australia Asset Management.
Deputy Group Chief Financial Officer - National Australia Bank
Greg commenced his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (then Coopers & Lybrand) Melbourne in January 1988. During his career with PwC, Greg provided internal and external audit services to clients in Australia, Asia and the United Kingdom, with a specialisation in insurance and investment management.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Greg was admitted to the partnership of PwC on 1 July 1999, a position he held until 31 January 2007 when he joined National Australia Bank (NAB) as the Chief Financial Officer for NAB’s Australian businesses. After two years as CFO, Greg was appointed as NAB’s Program Executive for a major change initiative and was subsequently appointed as Executive General Manager Audit for the NAB Group in October 2011. Greg was a Trustee Director of the NAB Group Staff Superannuation Fund from 2008 – 2015. In August 2015, Greg was appointed as the Executive General Manager and CFO for NAB’s Business & Private Bank.
In February 2017 he was appointed to the Board of JB Were (JBWere Ltd, JBWere (NZ) Pty Ltd and Invia Custodian Pty Ltd).
In December 2017, Greg was appointed to the position of Deputy Group Chief Financial Officer.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Accounting) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Christine joined NAB in 2010 and is currently Executive General Manager, NAB Private Wealth. Prior to this, Christine was Executive General Manager, Financial Institutions Group and International, where she managed NAB’s business with banks, insurance companies, funds and other non-bank financial institutions, and was responsible for NAB’s New York and London branches. She also led the Debt Markets Origination business, managing the Group’s bond and syndicated loan origination with Corporates and retail note origination with Corporates and Financial Institutions.
