Executive leadership

Justin-Greiner

Justin joined JBWere in February 2014 as Chief Executive Officer. He previously held a number of senior roles at ANZ, including General Manager Wealth Transformation, Head of Private NSW and Head of Advisory. 

With more than 20 years’ in the finance industry, Justin has worked as Head of Retail and Chief Operating Officer at Greenway Capital, Head of Financial Planning at Westpac, and Head of Corporate Development at Rothschild Australia Asset Management.

Sally-Auld

Sally joined JBWere in September 2020 from JP Morgan, where she was Managing Director, Chief Economist and Head of Fixed Income and FX Strategy for Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to JP Morgan she previously worked as Co-Head of Australian Economics and Fixed Income Strategy at ANZ. She started her career in Economic and Fixed Income research at Credit Suisse.

Sally holds a Bachelor of Economics with First Class Honours and the University Medal from Sydney University and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Economics from Oxford University. She is currently a Board Member of SCEGGS Darlinghurst, Deputy Chair of the Council of the Women's College within The University of Sydney and a member of the Finance and Investment Committee for the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

Shamal-Dass

Shamal joined JBWere in 2012 and leads the Philanthropic Services and Family Advisory business. He provides tailored advice to for-purpose organisations and private clients.  

Shamal is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Centre for Social Impact, University of NSW Business School, and teaches the Governance for Social Impact course at the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM). He serves as a Board Director for a number of organisations, including ARACY, Earthwatch Australia, Two Good Foundation and Constellation Project.

Gill-Gordon

Gillian joined JBWere in May 2019 as Head of Alternative Investments. She is responsible for determining the future strategy for Alternatives in JBWere and expanding Alternative investment offerings across Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Assets including Infrastructure & Property, Renewables, Natural Resources and Hedge Funds.

Gillian previously held senior roles overseas in multi-asset global investment and structuring.

Lincoln-Valentine

Lincoln joined JBWere in 2020 as part of the Investment Strategy Group as a Senior Analyst, Global Equities and has over 20 years of experience. Lincoln comes to JBWere with a strong record of managing equity and alternative investments across global and emerging markets.

Before joining JBWere, he was with Prince Street Capital Management in Singapore and New York, and more recently with independent investment advisory firm Phronimos Investments where Lincoln was Managing Director.

Laurie-Conheady

Laurie has over 20 years of global experience in fundamental and relative value credit research. He previously worked with S&P’s, and BMO Capital Markets, the investment banking arm of the Bank of Montreal. In his time at BMO Capital Markets, Laurie was ranked Canada’s number 1 corporate debt analyst for pipelines and utilities.  

Sally-Campbell

Sally Campbell joined JBWere in 2000 as an analyst within the Managed Investments Research team. She became Executive Director in 2010, as a member of the team responsible for identifying high quality externally managed strategies across all asset classes. This includes managed funds, managed accounts, listed investment companies and exchange traded funds. Sally provides asset allocation and portfolio construction advice.

Glen-Bertram

Glen joined JBWere in February 2020. He is responsible for the asset allocation policies of the business, is a senior member of the investment team and a key contributor to its macroeconomic and market insights and thought leadership. 

Glen has a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours, both from the University of Sydney, where he was a University Medalist. 

Prior to joining JBWere, Glen has held a variety of founder and portfolio manager roles within the investment management industry. He co-founded a residential real estate securitisation and data indexing company in joint venture with Macquarie Bank. That business was acquired by, and its market-leading real estate indices now published under US data multinational CoreLogic. He was a portfolio manager with Swiss bank UBS for a number of years, running fundamental discretionary portfolios across equity and equity-derivatives markets, and then with private investment management offshoots of UBS focused principally on the Australian market. He has significant experience in the professional application of fundamental as well as systematic investment strategies within and across major asset classes. 

Andrew-Bird

Andrew joined JBWere in September 2016, bringing more than 30 years of experience in roles across Melbourne, Tokyo, London, Jakarta and Singapore. He has worked in leading Australian and International institutions, including ANZ, McCaughan, Schroder’s, Citi Private Bank, Credit Suisse and UBS.

Andrew has managed teams in varied cultural and regulatory environments and has contributed to the success of large-scale change projects that have required in-depth knowledge of client, adviser and product complexities.
